KUCHING – The Pro-Life Group, a ministry of the Association of Churches in Sarawak, held a special exhibition at the Boulevard Shopping Mall on 3 August, to mark its 16th anniversary.
The slogan “Pro-Life means anti-abortion” is a misnomer. In fact, the Pro-Life Group takes the precautionary measure to educate youths on the prevention of unplanned pregnancies.
The exhibition, in three languages, highlighted unhealthy life-styles and unhealthy dating, with the consequent sexually transmitted diseases and abortion. A strong message on chastity was sent out to the public.
God’s creation and his gift of life, and the stages of fetal development were among the exhibits displayed. Many children were attracted to the models of babies in the mother’s womb, and they could not resist touching the models as if they were real babies.
Pro-Life members from various Christian denominations helped to put up and man the exhibition.
